Arsenal defeated Naperville Strikers 1-0 yesterday in the PSL Cup final.This is back to back wins for Arsenal in the league and the Cup.

In the Over 30's final game Bulgaria beat Balkans 3-2 on Penalty kicks.

In the Semi Finals of the Sunday Cup Arsenal beat Highlanders 2-1 and Strikers beat lightning 2-1 as well which sets up the final this week of Arsenal vs Strikers at Nike Park Napervile. I think the final has been played there about 4 years in a row.HMMMM ?

Celtic season is now over for 2011

The Over 30's and Sunday teams are done for the outdoor season.The Over 30's lads are playing somewhere indoor and the Sunday boys are looking to put a team together indoor as well. We hope to have a meeting before Xmas to get a few things straightened out for the new season so we will post the Date and the Place. Check back for updates.

Referee gets arrested at half-time



A referee has been arrested at half-time in a German football match after cash and jewellery was stolen from players’ lockers.

Players and fans had seen Michael Moser creeping into the changing rooms before kick-off in Vilsbiburg and called police, who found the loot in his kitbag.
